9. Unit Calculator Excel Sheets Free Download

Creating a unit converter spreadsheet can be incredibly useful for a variety of tasks, from everyday calculations to complex engineering projects. In this article, we'll walk through the steps to build a unit converter spreadsheet using Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, or any other spreadsheet software you prefer.

Set Up Your Spreadsheet

  1. Open a New Spreadsheet:

Start by opening your preferred spreadsheet software and creating a new blank spreadsheet.

  2. Label Your Columns: In the first row, label three columns: "From Unit," "To Unit," and "Conversion Factor."

  1. Enter Conversion Data: Below the column headers, enter the conversion data. For example, if you're converting from meters to feet, you would enter "m" in the "From Unit" column, "ft" in the "To Unit" column, and the conversion factor (3.28084 for meters to feet) in the "Conversion Factor" column. You can add as many conversion pairs as you need.
